Ghost Soldier Weapons Tier List
Stealth rifles, panic PDWs, and Guerrilla LMGs with the parts that make the letter true.
This is the letter page. The philosophy lives on the Tier List Hub. Builds live in Gunsmith. Mission pairing lives in the loadout planner. Names below use the in-game families players actually search: ACR-style carbines, SCAR-H, MK14, Vector, P90, MP7, MSR, M110, M249-class LMGs, and the pistols Raven Strike keeps asking for.
If your unlock tree is empty, play Nimble Guardian quietly until magazines and suppressors appear. Ranking a naked rifle is how C-tier guns get blamed for player haste.
S-tier
Suppressed 5.56 carbine (ACR family) for stealth. With a red dot, suppressor, and a magazine you can reload in cover, this is the campaign. Subtle Arrow, Firefly Rain, Gallant Thief approach — it belongs there. Recoil is honest. ADS is fast enough for a camo peek. It is not a miracle at 200 metres; that is why you also build a DMR.
MK14 / battle rifle for mid-range. Match trigger, mid optic, suppressor optional. Headshots on marked targets feel like the trailer. This is the gun that makes Sync Shot look professional. On Guerrilla it holds lanes. On Deep Fire it is too long unless you swap barrels.
Vector (or equivalent high rate CQC SMG) for panic and waves. Loud. Silly. Perfect after stealth dies and for Guerrilla closets. Do not take it as your only gun on an airfield.
MSR for designated marksman work. Towers, Warhound gunners, Shattered Mountain sightlines. Camo peek, one shot, relocate. Carrying it as a primary through Bolivia is a self-own.
A-tier
SCAR-H. Heavier punch than the 5.56 carbine, more recoil, excellent once gripped and braked. Loud campaign star.
P90 / MP7 PDWs. Interior kings. Silent Talon, Deep Fire, office Guerrilla. They fall off on tarmac. Suppress them.
M110. Semi sniper that is more flexible than the MSR if you refuse to swap weapons. A-tier because it is easier to live with, S-adjacent on Elite if you hit heads.
Suppressed pistol with a red dot. Mandatory for Raven Strike pistol challenges, emergency stealth in a pinch. A-tier as a kit piece, C-tier as a personality.
B-tier
M4A1-style carbines without unique parts. Fine. Outclassed once Gunsmith on the ACR family is deep. Use if the mission challenge says so.
AK-pattern rifles. Fun, punchy, worse stealth profile for many players. Take them to Valiant Hammer and smile.
UMP-class. Workable PDW if P90 is locked. Reload and range keep it out of A.
Shotguns. One mission challenge, one hallway, then they go on the wall. Guerrilla fun if the map is a hut.
M249-class LMG. A-tier on Valiant Hammer and Guerrilla holds, B overall because ADS and reloads fight camo play. If you have the old Uplay M60/RPK variants, treat them as B+ novelty LMGs, not a reason to skip the 5.56 stealth rifle.
C and D
C is anything you are using only because a tactical challenge demanded a class you have not built. Do the challenge on Recruit if needed, then swap back. D is meme paint jobs and launchers used as primaries.
Launchers and explosives are tools for armor, not a tier of gun. Warhounds and technicals want them; infantry courtyards want Sync Shot.
Class locks in multiplayer
Rifleman gets the assault and battle-rifle sandbox. Engineer leans support and some heavier toys. Scout wants the DMR/sniper and stealth kit. Your campaign S-tier does not auto-equip. Level the class, then rebuild. See how to play online before you grind a class on a dead official server — use the 2026 community backend.
If two guns feel the same, your optics match and your muzzles match. Change those first. Then come back and argue the letter on the hub with a screenshot of the bench, not a memory of 2012.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Ghost Soldier questions.
What is the best gun for a first playthrough?
A suppressed 5.56 carbine plus an MK14 or SCAR-H backup. Build them in Gunsmith.
Is the Vector good in stealth?
Only if suppressed and indoors. It is S-tier for panic and Guerrilla, not for Subtle Arrow.
Where do I put this loadout?
On the loadout planner next to the mission type you are about to run.
Do I need Uplay LMGs?
No. They are extras. The S-tier carbine and MK14 are in the normal tree.
