Ghost Soldier Tier List Hub

Ranks that assume Gunsmith parts, not the naked receiver you unlock on mission one.

Tier List Hub

A Future Soldier tier list that ignores Gunsmith is lying to you. An ACR with a suppressor and a red dot is not the same gun as an ACR with a heavy barrel and an 8x. This hub explains how we rank, then sends you to the weapons list for the actual letters. Use the Gunsmith guide to build the version we are talking about, and the loadout planner to assign that build to a mission type.

Ranks below assume Regular or Elite campaign and a competent Guerrilla player. Recruit makes every gun look S-tier. We also assume you will actually use optical camo and Sync Shot. A sniper that cannot peek with camo is worse than the camo page wants it to be.

How the letters work

S — take it on a blind run. Quiet enough or violent enough that the map bends. A — excellent once the right parts exist. Often the real endgame. B — fine, sometimes a challenge gun, sometimes a map specialist. C — usable if you like it. Do not recommend to a first-time Kozak. D — novelty, joke, or a challenge-only receiver.

We split stealth campaign, loud campaign, and Guerrilla because a Vector that melts waves is a liability on Subtle Arrow’s tarmac. If a YouTuber posts one universal S-tier, they are ranking their comfort, not the game.

What we are ranking

Assault rifles, PDWs, battle rifles, LMGs, shotguns, snipers, and pistols. Launchers and gadgets are not guns; they live on the optical camouflage page. Multiplayer classes (Rifleman, Engineer, Scout) change which parts you may equip — a campaign S-tier MK14 might be illegal on your Scout until you level.

Uplay-exclusive LMGs such as certain M60 and RPK variants are ranked if you have them through old rewards or a community save on a legitimate install. They are not required. The updates hub covers how those leftovers work in 2026.

How to use this with the rest of the wiki

Read Getting Started if you have not finished Bolivia. Then open weapons and pick one stealth primary and one loud backup. Build them in Gunsmith. Take them through the campaign walkthrough. Only then copy an S-tier sniper.

Co-op changes ranks slightly: a friend on Scout with an MSR makes your PDW more valuable, not less. Four people all running snipers on Deep Fire is a meme, not a strat.

Revisit this hub after Raven Strike. Secure Dawn without camo or drone makes mid-range rifles more important than cloak PDWs. That is a ranking modifier, not a rewrite of the whole list.

If you disagree with a letter, change the gun’s parts before you change our letter. Most arguments on old forums were two different Gunsmiths shouting past each other. Bring screenshots of the bench, or bring the planner.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Ghost Soldier questions.

Is this tier list for multiplayer or campaign?

Both, with notes. Open the weapons page; each entry flags stealth, loud, and Guerrilla.

Do attachments change a gun's tier?

Yes. We rank the built gun, not the empty receiver. See Gunsmith.

Will you rank operators?

Hunter is a fixed squad. Bios are on Hunter team, not a PvP tier list.
