Ghost Soldier Tactical Challenges and Score

Silent courtyards pay attachments. Recruit speedruns do not.

Tactical Challenges

Tactical challenges are why Future Soldier’s Gunsmith tree feels gated. The game does not drip barrels from a battle pass. It hides them behind mission homework: silent extracts, Sync Shot quotas, pistol rows, no-alarm intel grabs. Master Tactician on consoles is 100 percent of those challenges. If you blast every map on Recruit, you will stare at empty slots on Elite. This page is the scoring culture. Mission-by-mission beats still live in the campaign walkthrough. Parts live in Gunsmith.

Play Regular for a first story clear. Play Elite when you want the challenges that actually fill magazines and suppressors. Recruit teaches the geometry; it does not fill the bench. Guerrilla has its own 50-wave chores on the Guerrilla guide and does not share this scoreboard.

What the score is counting

Each campaign mission has a max score band players still quote in 2026. TrueAchievements and old strategy guides cluster around numbers like Nimble Guardian ~220, Subtle Arrow ~330, Noble Tempest ~290, Tiger Dust ~240, Silent Talon ~200, Firefly Rain ~280, Ember Hunt ~260, Deep Fire ~250, Valiant Hammer ~225, Gallant Thief ~260, Invisible Bear ~200, Shattered Mountain ~225. Treat those as ceilings, not homework. Hitting a high band usually means you stayed undetected through the stealth half and still finished the loud half without wasting minutes of “searching.”

Detection is the tax. A spotted sprint across Subtle Arrow’s tarmac deletes the quiet multiplier you spent twenty minutes building. Reloading while standing is how Regular becomes Elite’s joke. Use cover swaps from the controls page and camo rules from optical camouflage. Mark four, wait for Ghost Lead, then take the shot. The Sync Shot is a scoring tool, not a cutscene button.

Pistol challenges and “no gadget” rows exist so the game can force you off the comfort carbine. Raven Strike’s Secure Dawn removes camo, drone, and sensors on purpose. That is a tactical challenge wearing a DLC costume. Prepare on the DLC page before you blame the swamp.

Habits that unlock parts

Do the named challenge, not a vibes-based stealth run. If the mission wants a drum magazine for 100 percent, the UI told you. If it wants an LMG burst you hate, bring the LMG in the bag and swap for that window, then go back to the suppressed 5.56. The planner exists so you do not main an 8x on an interior map just because the challenge icon looked cool.

Silent extracts matter more than highlight kills. Noble Tempest’s no-alarm intel grab is the classic: escort, then sneak, then leave. PowerPyx’s Elite solo videos — one sits in the middle of this page for mission one — are still the cleanest public reference for people who refuse to read a list. Watch the middle, then play; do not watch twelve hours of every mission unless you enjoy other people’s cover swaps.

Co-op makes Sync Shot easier and stealth louder. Four friends sprinting is four detection meters. Assign who marks. Assign who never shoots until the diamond is full. Hunter’s voices are on the squad hub. In co-op you replace those voices with people who may not wait. Wait anyway.

Elite, Veteran, Recruit

Recruit — enemies forgive. Use it to learn Bolivia’s first courtyards, not to farm attachments.

Regular / Veteran — the mix the campaign was built for. High scores are realistic if you drone before you walk.

Elite — tighter aim, longer vision, meaner scores. Challenges on Elite are how people still 100 percent the game in 2026. You will die to a doorway. That is the point.

Offline campaign still works after the January 2024 shutdown. You do not need a 2026 lobby to finish Master Tactician. You need patience and a suppressor. If you are only here because a 2026 Discord told you to “unlock the good gun,” start with Nimble Guardian on Regular, then come back to Elite. The beginner guide is the checklist; this page is the reason that checklist mentions score.

When a challenge asks for a pistol, bring the pistol as a swap, not as a religion. When it asks for no camo, remember Secure Dawn already trained you. When it asks for a vehicle kill, explosives beat pride. Then go attach the part and play the next map instead of staring at the menu.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Ghost Soldier questions.

Do I need Elite for Gunsmith unlocks?

Many challenges are easier to complete cleanly on Regular first, then Elite. Recruit will not fill the tree. See Gunsmith.

Where is each mission's challenge list?

In-game before deploy, and in context on the campaign walkthrough.

Does co-op lock challenges?

No, but loud teammates fail silent ones. Agree on marks before Subtle Arrow.

Is this the same as Guerrilla trophies?

No. Fifty waves are a different chore. Use the Guerrilla guide.
