Ghost Soldier Hunter Team

Hunter is assembled because Predator is dead. That is the entire emotional engine of Future Soldier and it is enough. This page is the roster, how their voices map to battlefield jobs, and who they are hunting. For gadgets they share, read optical camouflage. You play Kozak. The other three will take Sync Shot assignments, lay fire, and occasionally do something heroic in a cutscene. In gameplay they are extra guns with extra mark slots. Treat them that way and the campaign sings. Treat them as invincible action heroes and they will stand in a doorway on Elite.

John Kozak

Staff Sergeant John Kozak is the new Ghost. The writing gives him less swagger than 30K and less gravel than Pepper, which is correct for a player avatar. You get the drone stick, the Gunsmith bench, and the fire command on Sync Shot. If a courtyard fails, it is usually Kozak sprinting, not Ghost Lead’s briefing.

Kozak’s job on every map: mark the right four, cloak the approach, do not get cute with an MSR in a hallway. The weapon tier list is his real character arc.

Ghost Lead — Captain Cedric Ferguson

Ghost Lead runs the clock. He is the one who tells you the package is moving, the extract is hot, the nuke is a rumor until it is not. When you are deciding whether to reset a stealth checkpoint, his voice is the one that makes the reset feel like professionalism instead of shame.

On the field he holds a mark like the others. In your head he is the reason you do not dump the Sync Shot early. In four-player co-op, someone should role-play this job on voice chat or four people will fire four different plans.

Pepper — Sgt. Robert Bonifacio

Pepper has done this. The delivery is veteran, slightly tired, not cynical enough to quit. He is the easiest AI teammate to imagine as a real NCO. When a line lands during a quiet approach, it is usually his.

Use him as your mental model for Regular difficulty: competent, not cinematic. If you are teaching a friend the game, tell them to play like Pepper, not like the live-action trailer.

30K — SFC James (Jimmy) Ellison

30K wants the loud gun. The nickname is locker-room obvious. He is the pressure to break stealth on Tiger Dust and Valiant Hammer, which is sometimes correct. If you let him set the pace on Subtle Arrow, you will fight the whole airfield.

In co-op, the player who refuses suppressors is 30K. That can be useful. Assign him the LMG and the vehicle sections. Do not assign him the drone.

Predator, Raven’s Rock, Bodark

Predator team is the cold open: Nicaragua, a bomb, a wipe. You do not play as them. You inherit their mess.

Raven’s Rock is the Russian ultranationalist project that turns a regional fight into the Moscow missions. Bukharov and the leadership you hunt on Shattered Mountain sit here. The politics are 2012 Tom Clancy: coup, rogue nukes, Ghosts as the scalpel. You are not here for a poli-sci paper; you are here to Sync Shot a balcony.

Bodark are the operators who fight like Ghosts. Raven Strike’s marsh and rail depot feel different because the enemy has your homework. When a patrol uses cover instead of standing in a courtyard, you are closer to Bodark than to a cartel.

Warhounds are not a faction. They are a homework assignment from Silent Talon. Bring explosives and do not mark them as men.

Co-op personalities

Four humans can recreate Hunter badly. Decide who is Lead (calls extract), who is Pepper (watches the drone), who is 30K (loud rifle), and who is Kozak (marks). Then play the online guide so the lobby actually exists in 2026.

If you only play solo, the AI is enough. They will miss shots you would not miss. They will also hold diamonds you forget. That trade is the game.
