Ghost Soldier Squad Hub
The four Ghosts you actually command, and the coup that creates the plot.
Future Soldier is a squad game even when you play solo. Kozak is the body. Ghost Lead, Pepper, and 30K are the other three marks on every Sync Shot. This hub is who they are and who they shoot. Deep bios sit on Hunter team. Adversarial loadouts sit on multiplayer classes. Systems sit on optical camouflage. Story order sits on the campaign walkthrough.
You cannot recruit a fifth operator. You cannot bench 30K because he talks too much. Loadouts are guns, not people. If you came here looking for a Gacha tier list, you are in the wrong franchise — try the weapon tier list instead.
Hunter team in one screen
John Kozak (you). Staff sergeant, the new Ghost after Predator dies in Nicaragua. Quiet competence is the writing; the drone and the Gunsmith bench are the power fantasy.
Ghost Lead (Captain Cedric Ferguson). Calls the clock. Keeps the other three from turning a recon into a raid too early. When he says wait, wait.
Pepper (Sgt. Robert Bonifacio). Veteran voice, dry, the one who sounds like he has done this before because he has.
30K (SFC James (Jimmy) Ellison). Aggressive, nicknamed for the obvious joke, first to want a loud gun. Useful on Valiant Hammer. A liability if you let him set the stealth tempo.
Together they are Hunter. The previous Ghost unit, Predator, is the ghost story that opens the campaign: ambushed, gone, your problem now.
Enemies worth naming
Raven’s Rock. Russian ultranationalist clique. The campaign’s actual boss faction. Shattered Mountain is their exit interview.
Bodark. The rival special-ops myth. Raven Strike and later missions lean on them as the operators who fight like you do. If a courtyard feels too professional, you are not fighting militia.
Local forces, cartels, and coup troops. Bolivia, Pakistan, Zambia, Moscow streets. They are the sensor-grenade food. They still kill you if you reload standing.
Warhounds and vehicles. Not people. Do not Sync Shot them like infantry. Explosives, flanking, and patience. Silent Talon teaches this the hard way.
Why the squad page exists
Because players search “Kozak,” “30K,” and “Ghost Lead” after a cutscene and bounce if the wiki only has gun charts. Because co-op friends need to know who is calling marks. Because Secure Dawn without gadgets is easier if you remember you still have three AI shooters who will hold a diamond.
Read Hunter team for the longer bios and how each voice maps to a battlefield job. Then go play. The characters are written to be tools; treating them as a Netflix recap is optional.
If you queued for 2026 PvP, skip the cutscene recap and open Rifleman, Engineer, Scout. Campaign Kozak is not a class. If you are here before installing, read the review and the beginner guide first. If you are here between missions, you are stalling — Ghost Lead would say so.
