Ghost Soldier Campaign Walkthrough
Twelve story missions, score habits, and the Raven Strike DLC trio.
Hunter team exists because Predator team dies in Nicaragua. The rest of Ghost Recon Future Soldier is Kozak, Ghost Lead, Pepper, and 30K following a bomb, a coup, and Raven’s Rock across Bolivia, Zambia, Pakistan, Russia, and the Arctic. This walkthrough is a mission map, not a second-by-second script. Use it when a courtyard of patrols, a Warhound, or a Moscow street stalls you. Bring a suppressed primary, a loud backup, and the optical camouflage rules.
Play solo or in four-player online co-op. Co-op is easier for Sync Shot and harder for stealth if your friends sprint. Official servers closed in 2024; how to play online covers the 2026 path. Difficulty: Regular for a first story clear, Elite when you want attachment challenges.
Missions 1–4: Bolivia to Pakistan
Nimble Guardian (Bolivia). Secure Gabriel Paez. Max score sits around 220. Start with a suppressed rifle and keep an LMG in the bag if the mission challenge wants it. Stay off rooftops until you have drone tags. Extraction is the loudest part; save the unsuppressed gun for the end. Completing the mission unlocks the Loose Thread-style story beat and teaches cover swap.
Subtle Arrow. Stealth airfield. Max score around 330. Suppressors are not optional. Use the drone on the hangars, sensor the interiors, and never cross open tarmac in a sprint. If you alert the tower, reset from the last checkpoint instead of turning it into a raid. This is the mission that makes or breaks your attachment unlocks.
Noble Tempest. Rescue a CIA asset and get to the beach. Mixed stealth and two real gunfights. Keep a suppressor on one gun and an assault rifle on the other. After the VIP, the return to the water is a running fight; pre-load the loud rifle. Precious Cargo is the story flag.
Tiger Dust (Pakistan). Hunt an arms dealer. Score around 240. You will break stealth. Build an assault rifle that can take a suppressor off quickly in Gunsmith. Watch alleys for flanking LMGs. Do not chase vehicles on foot without checking the loadout planner for a mid-range optic.
Missions 5–8: Africa, Norway, Russia
Silent Talon. Night infiltration and a Warhound problem. Use the drone to mark the walking gun before you peek. Camo plus high cover beats a frontal duel. If the mission challenge wants shotgun or close work, swap only after the armor is down.
Firefly Rain (Kaliningrad airfield). Night raid, not Zambia — Subtle Arrow was the African airfield. Treat hangars and towers as a louder Subtle Arrow. Sensors before every hut. Sync Shot the watchtowers first, then the patrols that will hear the bodies.
Ember Hunt. Longer stealth-action mix. This is where sloppy camo habits catch up. Reload in cover, mark four, drop four, move. If you are farming Elite tactical challenges, watch a dedicated challenge video after this text — we keep one walkthrough video mid-page and refuse a second embed.
Deep Fire. Underground / industrial. Flashlights and tight corners punish huge scopes. Bring a PDW or short barrel from the weapon tier list. Frag grenades are legal once a room is already loud. Watch for vertical angles; drones still work in high bays.
Missions 9–12: Russia and the ending
Valiant Hammer. Open combat compared with the first half. 30K will sound happy. You should still tag before you dump a magazine. Vehicles and emplacements appear; use cover swaps instead of standing reloads.
Gallant Thief. Rescue President Volodin from a prison. Vertical map, lots of Sync Shot balconies, lots of ways to get spotted from a catwalk you did not drone. Camo on the approach, rifle for the yard, patience on the extract.
Invisible Bear (Moscow). Help protesters, hunt General Bukharov. Urban, messy, civilian-adjacent. Check your fire. Sensor grenades through apartments. This is a bad mission for a machine gun with no optic discipline.
Shattered Mountain. Kill Raven’s Rock leadership as they run. The finale is a series of pushes, not a stealth exam. Bring the loadout you actually like at this point. If you have been score-hunting, you already have the 8x and the barrels. If you have been blasting, finish the story anyway — you can NG the challenges later. The ending is a cutscene, not a QTE. After credits, consider Raven Strike.
Raven Strike DLC
Raven Strike adds three campaign missions you can play solo or in four-player co-op.
Secure Dawn (Kazakhstan marsh). Fog, limited gadgets: no optical camo, no drone, no sensor on this one. It is a skills check. Use cover, lean, and rifle discipline. Rescue General Kozlov. Package Delivery is the story flag.
Cold Walker. Train depot in the Russian countryside. Ambush after the railcar. Tables Turned is the fight out. A pistol challenge often appears; bring a suppressed pistol with a red dot from Gunsmith.
Argent Thunder. Night Moscow urban. Pistol plus rifle again. Treat it like Invisible Bear with DLC spawn tricks.
Arctic Strike and Khyber Strike are multiplayer map packs more than story. Track them on updates and server status if you care about Guerrilla rotations.
When a mission still will not click, the cause is usually mark order or a Gunsmith optic that is too slow. Fix binds on controls, then retry the checkpoint instead of lowering difficulty immediately. Elite is fair if you play like a Ghost.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Ghost Soldier questions.
How many campaign missions are there?
Twelve in the base story, from Nimble Guardian to Shattered Mountain, plus three Raven Strike missions.
Should I play on Elite the first time?
No. Regular teaches systems. Elite is for score and attachment hunting on a second pass.
Does co-op change the story?

Where do I go after the finale?
Raven Strike if you own it, then Guerrilla loadouts and how to play online.
